KRAVET
THE STORY OF KRAVET.
In 1918, Samuel Kravet, a tailor from Russia, arrived in the United States and started tailoring for NYC’s wealthy community. Six years later Samuel, along with his four sons – Morris, Sam, Sol and Hy, formed S.Kravet & Sons. They sold fabric and trimmings to the trade.
In 1938, their first showroom opened in Manhattan. Over 90 years later, Kravet flourishes with the creative designs of home furnishings and fabrics. They offer a full range in upholstery, as well as variations in styling and sizing.
Through Kravet, we bring you the chance to purchase furniture of the utmost quality. Whether its upholstered beds, sleepers, benches, lounges or exposed frame chairs; you won’t be disappointed. Plus, if you’re looking for sofas, chairs, ottomans, or any other of the basics, we’ve got that too. You’ll choose fabrics, as well as customize the sizing and finishing, for your pieces.
At least one person from the Design Team is available in-store or by phone, from 10am-5pm daily. We are ready, willing and able to educate you in quality purchasing, to maximize the budget you have for furnishing your home. If you need more in-depth conversation, you’re welcome to schedule an appointment to aid you in your decision-making.
